Partner - Nkem Agboti
Nkem is an accredited Mediator and works as a mediation neutral at the Lagos Multi-door Courthouse. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), and the Lagos Chamber of Commerce International Arbitration Center. She serves as the Chairman of the Regulatory Compliance Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL).
She lends her expertise across the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution; Public-Private Partnerships & Project Finance; Intellectual Property; Corporate Law and Governance; Regulatory Compliance; Anti-Bribery and Corruption Regulation and Structures; FMCG Business; and Conveyances.
Nkem is also well rounded in Corporate Affairs, with special experience in Government Engagement, Legislative Negotiations, Legislative Drafting, and Administrative Proceedings.
Prior to founding Amber Solicitors, Nkem worked at two of Nigeria’s foremost law firms, as well as a multi-national FMCG company.
Partner - Obinna Agboti
Obinna is both a Legal Practitioner and a Chartered Accountant. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Obinna worked for several years with two international audit firms, where he honed his skills in accounting and financial advisory services, offering professional services to companies in a wide range of industries including energy, finance, manufacturing, and utilities.
Since 2009, Obinna has provided client support on Supply Chain Management, and Procurement relating to onshore and offshore oil producing facilities, managing transactional partnerships between international oil companies and their technical service providers.
