We are committed to defending the defenseless, and have been, and will continue to be, engaged in the process of obtaining bail, trial, and release of indigent and uninformed accused persons, as well as compensation where the circumstances warrant it.
NBA Volunteer Work
Amber Solicitors has volunteered its secretarial competencies to sub-committees of the Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) as well as the NBA Section on Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL).
Legal Support to Civil Society Organisations
At Amber Solicitors, we are passionate about social change, and volunteer our legal and advocacy competencies where needed to address social, health, legal, educational, scientific, political, and policy challenges within Nigeria in order to ensure that wholesome values are preserved and protected against the growing contradictions and coercions that seek to undermine truth in relation to family, children, marriage, justice, education, etc, for the sustainability and sanity of society.
Participation in Lagos Settlement Week
Lagos Settlement Week is a week set aside by the Chief Judge of Lagos State for specific courts to clear the backlog of cases, through means which include referrals to the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse for possible resolution through mediation, arbitration, neutral evaluation or any other ADR procedure.
Amber Solicitors has consistently participated in this initiative since 2016.
